Dreaming of memories of now
Geska Brečević, Robert Brečević, Mexico, Croatia, Island, Sweden
The movie explores the process of artistic creation and is an ethernal declaration of love towards one specific place. This experimental essay-film is a composition of deep thoughts, sun-lit images and scenes of mystery, guided by the poetic voice. The authors sent a message that the attempt to stop the time by recording the memories for the future generations is a true vanity.
MS Valentino
Melanie Hollaus, Austria
The cargo ship MS Valentina crosses the 1640 kilometers of the Danube on its way from Linz in Austria to Ruse in Bulgaria, passing through seven countries. The river, as a kind of an “European road”, is full of contrasts and differences. The film records everyday life on a cargo ship MS Valentina which transports fertilizers. The Romanian family lives there in a home made of steel, size three with three. Their life is firmly linked to the river.
Ours
Sead Šabotić, Montenegro
This is a story about houses built in the north of Montenegro by people from diaspora. In this unusual hybrid documentary, the question of the identity of our scattered population is being raised. This issue is mirrored in the empty, uninhabited houses.
