The day of the accession of Vojvodina to the Kingdom of Serbia, in Novi Sad is celebrated on November 25. On that day, the Great National Assembly of Serbs, Bunjevci and other Slavs in Banat, Bačka and Baranja, decided to join the Kingdom of Serbia. Representatives of Srem have decided the same the day before. On the occasion of the Centenary, the Museum of Accession in 1918 was opened for visitors. Visitors were offered to follow this historical and political event through six connected units, starting from the Great Migration of Serbs to the liberation in World War I and accession to the Kingdom of Serbia. The Museum of Vojvodina, beside the Museum of Accession in 1918, has another new permanent exhibition, and that is the Medical Museum Collection – Pasteur’s Institute.
